“No, I mean I think you are hot.” He rested his arms on the chair and extended his legs.

‘Cocky’, she thought looking at him.

“You are really silly.” she said, taking a sip of tea.

“Well then let’s go fuck around in the pool.” he laughed taking off his shirt and throwing it on her. He stripped naked and ran out the sliding glass doors into the pool.

‘This kid really knows his strongest assets’ she thought watching him run. His body was classically sculpted in a very natural way. She decided to throw caution to the wind and join him in the pool.

Diane had grown tired of the control needed in her life. Gardener had taken the weekend off and Betsey would be gone for the afternoon. They had abandoned her to a horny teenager.

She took off her robe and began walking in the pool. He swam toward her and pulled her to him. She gave in. It was what she needed. He softly kissed her lips. His skin was soft like a girl’s. Mark’s skin had hardened with age. She had almost forgotten what it felt like to be kissed by someone as soft as Adam.

He pressed his body close to hers and she could feel the waves of his muscles under his skin. He intoxicated her, she lost her senses. She kissed him back and wrapped her arms around his waist. He left one arm wrapped around her back and the other glided down to her thigh. He pulled her left leg up so that his cock pressed against her hip.

She had seen it when he was running to the pool but it felt much bigger pressed against her crotch. He ran his lips down her neck and they felt like icy hot on her skin. She lost her breath.

“You know,” he said, trailing his lips down her sternum, “I really want to fuck you.”

The whole world fell into a wormhole. The only thing that was left was Diane and Adam. She felt his hands tug at her swimming suit bottom. What was she doing? She didn’t seem to care.

She had lost her husband and was tired of being the one to have to control everything; she felt his hands on her ass. Everything had been so oppressive; all she wanted was this, this moment. This thing just for her, it was consuming, the fire only seemed to grow as he touched her.

He knew his way around a woman, she could not deny. He knew exactly how to touch her, how to kiss her, how to make her bend to his will. He took off her top and worked his lips down to her nipples; she arched her back to him. The water took all of the weight off the exchange.

Her breath had quickened to the point that she felt she could not get any oxygen at all. His body was practically hairless and was slick against hers. He was too young to know how to manipulate a woman the way he did, too young for her to be there.

She didn’t care about anything anymore except this thing, this moment. This moment that made her light headed. She felt his cock press against her and, god help her, she let him in. He pumped slowly into her for what felt like an eternity and pressed her body against the side of the pool.

“Fuck.” He whispered in between jagged breaths

She propped her arms up on the side of the pool, “I want to see you cum” he said and pressed his thumb on her. She felt the heat build in her until it exploded and she could see spots of light when she closed her eyes.

It turns out Adam does not pull out. After he came he pulled her to him and cradled her in his arms for a little while.

She wasn’t sure what happened but she did not really mind.

  Chapter Five

They spent the next month in each other’s arms. Diane wasn’t sure what she was doing. Tom had called several times to check on her and Betsey shot her disapproving looks at every opportunity. The only people that seemed to know what was happening were Adam, Diane and Betsey.

She had hardly heard from Carolyn, Diane assumed she was wrapped up in her own world of drinking and talking.

She was caught up in her own world when she heard Tom ring the doorbell. She pulled her kimono up on her shoulders and went to meet Tom at the door.

“Hey Tom it is great to see you!” she said and hugged him to her.

“You too doll, how you holding up?” Tom said in his genuinely cheerful way.

“Eh, ok” she said when she wanted to scream Shirley McClain style ‘FANFUCKINGTASTIC!’.

Tom’s smile dropped and he was staring out the window of the sunroom, “I see Adam is making himself at home.”

Diane turned to see Adam diving naked off of the diving board. Tom and Diane had always been honest with each other, she had listened to him go through his divorce, they had been through life together she, Tom and Mark.

She turned back to face him, “I am fucking him.”

Tom laughed, “You have got to be kidding me? What is he eighteen?”

She laughed back, “Nineteen, I don’t know what came over me. It is difficult to say he seduced me since I am old enough to be his mother but here we are. I think it is just a fling. He is really fun and he is going back to Florida for school in the spring. He took a semester off to help me. I guess he is helping in more ways than one. Want a drink?”

He nodded, “Well after finding out my best friend is a cradle robber I could use one,” he laughed again and rubbed the hair on his chin.

Adam noticed Tom through the glass and waved. He got up on the side of the pool, pulled on his robe and walked into the house.

“Hey man!” he smiled reaching out his hand. Adam was a good head taller than Tom and Tom had known him since he was a child.

“Hey guy, can I talk to you alone for a minute? Diane do you mind if we have a little man time?”

Diane did mind but what could she say? She walked out of the room. Adam looked nervous but maintained his smile while Tom talked to him in a serious manner. When they were done they shook hands. Adam stood stiffly while Tom walked to the kitchen to say bye.

“What did you say to him?” Diane asked when hugging Tom.

“I just told him that I know what’s up and if he gives you shit I will knock his handsome head off his shoulders. He seemed nervous. I think the little asshole is up to something. If I were you I would watch myself, maybe even encourage him to go back to school early.” Tom said seriously.

“You are being too bloody serious Tom.” She laughed.

“And you watch too much BBC.” He laughed back, “Just because your intentions are a fun affair after the death of your husband does not mean his are. This child needs money, his dad has already told him all of his money will go to Carolyn. Just be watchful ok?”

  ‘Serious’, she thought.

“Sure Tom, I will be careful. I have no intention of getting emotionally attached to pretty you know?”

“I know, hey I got to fly. Love you.”

“Love you too!” and she hugged him.

Adam watched him go stiffly and Diane watched Adam’s reaction.

  Chapter Six

  Diane did watch him.

After Tom’s visit he grew cold. She watched him perform chores and mechanically move around the home.

She sat next to him in the sun room, “What’s up?” she asked him, patting him on the leg.

“Tom is right, I am using you.” He said flatly.

“And is that so bad?” she asked, “Have I not been using you as well?”

“No, I need money. My asshole dad won’t even pay for my college and my mom can’t afford it.” He dropped in the chair.

“I will give you money, you have no idea how you have helped me.” She said, “Just everything darling. There is nothing wrong with what we did. I needed it.”

He looked at her, he had expected rejection but there it was acceptance.

“Maybe you should get back to school, I will go write you a check and you enjoy your oncoming twenties.”

He fell into a hug clinging to her like a child.

Diane got the checks out of the kitchen and wrote him out a check for twenty-five thousand dollars.

  “Will this help darling?”

“Of course, thank you so much. I was worried that you would be angry.” He looked like he
was on the edge of weeping.

“If there is anything you can count on from people in my generation it is a flexible morality” she laughed.

He looked at her questioningly, “Thanks I mean it… I am sorry that I even thought I was using you.”

“It is ok honey, why don’t you go find someone your own age to fuck?”

  Chapter Seven

Diane had sat around a few weeks after Adam left in her yoga pants and sports bra. At some point Betsey thought it was enough and called Tom.

He rushed in the door, “Diane what are you doing? How long has it been since you bathed for fuck’s sake?”

“I am knocked up.” She said flatly

“Oh shit it is that little asshole’s huh?”

  “Yeah”

“Well let’s get you bathed.” Tom picked her up and carried her to the bath. He took off all of her clothes and put her in the tub. “My jeebus woman you are a hairy mess” he laughed.

“I can’t do this, it is too much. I can’t go on Tom.” She said. Her eyes barely moved.

“Why don’t we start with the small things such as a nice warm bath?” He started washing her with soap and shampooing her hair. He could not see a bulge where the baby should be but it was early. He knew he had always loved her, at least since college.

She was with Mark. Mark was his best friend.

“Fuck Diane, get your shit together. Look, if you want to go to the clinic I will take you. If you want to keep the baby God knows you have enough money to take care of it. I wouldn’t even let the little prick know he is the father honestly.”

Tom made sense. She had been depressed because she did not want to tell Adam he was the father. She didn’t want to be an old mother but something in her body was urging her to keep the little kidney bean.

“What am I going to do?” she asked, her voice losing its placidity. “You want me to say it is Mark’s? The timing doesn’t work.”

Tom was helping her get into her robe, “We will say it is mine.” He said flatly.

Diane looked at him. She had never looked at Tom before. Here was this man, he was in excellent shape. Dark hair curled and tumbled around his face not unlike Adam’s blonde curls. Tom had inherited his fortune and increased it. He was semi-retired. She wondered that she had never noticed before this very moment that he loved her. All the visits and phone calls, all the nights she sat up helping him through his divorce, all the times he had helped her and never asked a thing from her. There was Tom exactly when and how she needed him and here he was again.

It took her breath away that she had never noticed. Tom stared at her unflinching. “Yes” she said, it was all she could say. Tom kissed her. The kissed was laced with years of wanting and love. She could not refuse him because she knew that she loved him too.

Diane was always a woman that knew herself and here she was in love.

Tom traced his hand up the length of her leg and clung to her as if his love would fall away if he dropped his hands. They made love in a way she and Adam had never touched. She was not consumed by Tom she was joined with him. Each breath, touch and orgasm was a reflection of the dance of love that had been unrequited for twenty years. Tom fell asleep with his head on her chest and she lightly dozed in the joy of her good luck in finding love.

  The End.

  That Mom

  By

  C. R. Garmen

Nothing was more tiresome than waiting for your kid to get out of school, Sharon thought. She shifted her weight onto her left foot with a sigh, checking her black plastic watch- a gift from her daughter last Christmas- for the hundredth time. It was a cool day and nearing the wondrous end of the year. Soon she wouldn’t have to deal with the snotty stuck up soccer moms who were way too involved in their kid’s lives. You know the ones: The ones with their hair cut into fluffy bobs and looking down at everyone else, as if somehow they were better, the ones who always speak in a condescending tone and gossip in their tight little cliques as if they were still in high school. Sharon’s lip curled as she looked over at the source of her torture for the past two years. Mrs. Julia Dorsey stood with her head high, laughing loudly at something her friend said. It was disgusting. The skinny-mini gang all wore matching cuts, dyed blond or black, with lots of make-up and tight fitting shirts and jeans. The leader, Julia, darted a glance around the school door at the other waiting partners, and when her eyes landed on Sharon, she smirked. The bitch actually smirked!

Her blood rose to a boil and her hands clenched tightly at her sides. What made them so perfect? Their little brats were in after school programs while her little Crystal preferred to color at home. She attended every single school function, half the time, trying to take over for the school board. She had a flock of four other followers who hung on her every word as if she was their Savior. Excuse me for having a life outside of this crap; Sharon thought with a huff, turning her gaze to a large rectangle window that showed into the fourth grade classroom. The bell was supposed to go off at 3:15 but here it was 3:17 and the kids were still waiting inside. Maybe her watch was fast…

Sharon tugged at her large purple shirt self-consciously as Julia made a snide comment about moms dressing bad a little too loudly. Probably on purpose, she thought while rolling her eyes. Another woman standing in front of her frowned and shifted uneasily. Yeah, everyone was affected by the skinny-mini gang’s taunts. Finally the glorious shriek of the bell went off and the kids inside lined up, slowly slipping into the halls to walk out their prospective doors. Sharon almost clapped giddily. She could finally take her seven year-old daughter’s hand and bolt for the blue minivan to escape from this recurring nightmare.

The heavy steel doors burst open with waves of children screaming and laughing as they rushed for their parents or the bus. Mayhem time, Sharon thought dryly, though she completely understood the need to run. Julia and her group dispersed to find their brats and disappeared from view in the tight crowd. Good, Sharon thought as her eyes locked on a tall brunette with a tight frown. Her heart dropped as she saw the woman approach with her blond haired baby in tow. “Mrs. Osborn, hello, how are you today?” she greeted the teacher who stood only a foot away now. Mrs. Osborn brushed a stray strand of hair away from her face and sighed, glancing down at Crystal who squirmed with red-rimmed eyes. Immediately panic set in. “What is wrong baby?!”

Mrs. Osborn raised her hand to calm Sharon down while nudging Crystal towards her mother. “Mrs. Hall, I am afraid your daughter has lice.” Crystal, the ever sensitive girl, burst into a fresh round of tears, clutching Sharon’s side. “Shh, it’s not your fault,” she cooed, running her hair through her short blond locks.

“Don’t homeless people and beggars get lice?”

Sharon whipped her head to the side, seeking out that grating, awful voice that could only belong to Julia. She was standing about a foot away with her daughter sneering at Crystal, her tiny brown pigtails blowing slightly in the breeze. Mrs. Osborn frowned, “Now you know that isn’t true, Mrs. Dorsey.” She remarked sternly. Julia shrugged, “Well, MY daughter has never had lice.” She threw back before wiggling her thin hips away.

Sharon hissed under her breath, throwing her glare back at the teacher. “How in the hell did she get it?!”

Mrs. Osborn shrugged, “Lice are common, especially when we live so close to the water. Just pull out the nits and use a shampooing treatment to kill the rest of the bugs. When you believe she is free of them, bring her back and we will inspect her head.”

Sharon shook her head with a scowl. Just what she needed to make this day better… Damn bloodsucking pests, and the lice, too. “Did anyone else in her class have it? I mean you did check them all, right?” she asked with a raised brow.

Mrs. Osborn’s calm expression never wavered as she replied, “No, we didn’t check them all. Your daughter was the only one scratching her head.”

“So, Crystal could come back clear only to catch it again in a week?”

  “Mrs. Hall, you mus
t understand that it was near the end of the day when we discovered her condition and had no time to pull every classroom for a lice check. A warning will go out to all of the parents tomorrow.”

Sharon’s face burned red as she gritted her teeth and tugged Crystal’s hand. “Come on, let’s go home,” she ground out, moving quickly through the thinning crowd to get away from both women she desperately wanted to punch. This was precisely why she hated public schools. Three times they had caught the damn bugs this year, and no matter what they tried, Crystal seemed to come back with the same problem a few months later. They kept the house clean, used a bug bomb that chased them away from home for a full day, didn’t let Crystal share hair things, and used that special bug treatment shampoo every week. And yet, here they were. Obviously the shampoo needed to go. It wasn’t doing its job, that or the school lied when they talked about sending out warnings. Not like half of the parents would really admit to their child having lice.

While it is common and can be dealt with easily if caught soon enough, it was embarrassing to admit having them, especially when Julia and her gang were around. “What I wouldn’t give for that bitch to catch a heavy round of lice- and ticks, and fleas…” Sharon muttered under her breath as she unlocked the KIA’s doors and ushered Crystal inside. Once her baby was safely buckled, she threw open the driver’s door, slid inside and jammed the keys in the ignition. The van started with a violent shake and mighty roar. Glancing in the rear view mirror to back out, Sharon caught a glimpse of Julia’s shiny, new Escalade pulling away with all the windows rolled down and a tacky “My daughter is student of the week at Milton Elementary!” sticker on the bumper. It was no secret that Mr. Dorsey had a well-paying job. His oh-so-wonderful wife flaunted it every chance she could. This was just the latest hit to every housewife or single mom’s ego.

After burning rubber to get out of the parking lot and race towards the safety and comfort of home, Crystal piped up. “I don’t like the Dorsey’s, they are mean people. Jessica made fun of my flower dress today and said it was ugly.”
